Thorn Thistle and Thread Return Policy
At Thorn Thistle and Thread, every order is carefully inspected, lovingly packed, and shipped with care. Because many of our fabrics are one-of-a-kind, out-of-print, vintage, reclaimed, or cut specifically for your order, our return policy is designed to balance exceptional customer service with the unique nature of our inventory.
Returns
We gladly accept returns of unopened, unwashed, and unused items within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:
● Fabric must be in its original condition.
● Fabric must not have been washed, cut, sewn, or altered in any way.
● Items must be free of odors, pet hair, smoke exposure after delivery, or other damage.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is the result of our error.
Cut Fabric
Most yardage is cut specifically for your order. Because of this, cut fabric is not eligible for return or exchange unless:
● You received the wrong item.
● The fabric arrived damaged.
● There was a significant error in fulfilling your order.
Vintage, Reclaimed & Estate Fabrics
Many of our favorite treasures are sourced from estate sales, resale collections, and carefully curated vintage finds. While every piece is inspected before listing, these fabrics may show light signs of age or storage consistent with their history. These characteristics are part of their charm and are reflected in our descriptions whenever possible.
Unless an item has been misrepresented or arrives damaged, vintage, reclaimed, and estate fabrics are sold as is and are not eligible for return based on age-related characteristics.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number along with clear photos of the item and packaging so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
